Bengaluru to host national wheelchair tennis from tomorrow

Bengaluru, Sept. 16 -- The first-ever National Ranking Wheelchair Tennis Tournament is set to take place for the next four days beginning tomorrow.

Organised by the Karnataka Wheelchair Tennis Association (KWTA) at the Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association (KSLTA) and recognised by the All-India Tennis Association (AITA), the event will feature top wheelchair tennis athletes from across the country, including players with international rankings.

Speaking ahead of the tournament, BR Chandrakant, President of KWTA, said the initiative aims to foster an inclusive sporting community, nurture talent from every corner of India, and inspire a generation of athletes who redefine boundaries.
