Bengaluru, March 24 -- In a major overhaul of match-day experience, Bengaluru City Police on Tuesday introduced a strict, tech-driven spectator management system for IPL 2026 fixtures at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, combining QR-based ticketing, free metro travel, and a strong advisory urging fans to "unlearn old patterns."Framing the changes as a complete reset in crowd handling, police said all tickets for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) home matches will be mobile-based QR codes, activated only a few hours before gate opening and strictly non-transferable, effectively curbing black-market sales and duplication.
