Bengaluru, Jan. 2 -- In a swift and compassionate response, the Ashok Nagar Police of Bengaluru City successfully rescued and reunited a missing elderly man with his family.
According to a press note issued by the Office of the Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru City, on Friday, Namma 112 received a call around 2.26 pm on Wednesday, reporting that a 70-year-old man had been wandering suspiciously in the Neelasandra Rose Garden area for the past four days.
The information was immediately registered by the Namma 112 staff and relayed to the officers and personnel on duty of Hoysala-16, attached to the Ashok Nagar Police Station. Acting promptly, ASI Ammayamma and Police Constable Adiveppa of Hoysala-16 reached the spot within 26 minutes.
