Bengaluru, Sept. 10 -- In a significant development in the ongoing Renukaswamy murder case, a city sessions court has directed prison authorities to provide basic amenities to Kannada film actor Darshan, who is currently lodged at the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison as an undertrial.

Additional Sessions Judge Irappanna Pavadi Naik, while hearing Darshan's plea, ordered the Bengaluru Central Prison officials to ensure that the actor and four other accused (Accused No. 2, 6, 7, 11, and 12) are given the minimum facilities guaranteed under the Constitution and the Karnataka Prisons and Correctional Services Manual, 2021.
