Bengaluru, Sept. 19 -- The Bengaluru Police today arrested retired soldier Vasanth Kumar, 40, from Sakaleshpura in Hassan district, on charges of posting an objectionable message against Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on social media. The arrest was carried out by the Cyber Wing of the Central Crime Branch (CCB).
According to police, Kumar posted the message on his Facebook account, 'Hanuma Bhakta', in reaction to a statement made by Siddaramaiah during the inaugural address at the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH)'s Diamond Jubilee celebrations in Mysuru on September 1.
