Kolkata, Dec. 4 -- Hours after West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress suspended Humayun Kabir, the Bharatpur MLA announced on Thursday that he would put up 135 candidates in the state Assembly polls next year by launching a new political outfit on December 22.
He also reiterated his plans to build a replica of the Babri Masjid in Beldanga of the Muslim-dominated Murshidabad district and warned the administration not to stop him from laying the foundation stone of the structure on December 6 - the anniversary of the demolition of the controversial mosque in Ayodhya by a mob in 1992.
The Trinamool Congress earlier in the day suspended Kabir, ending months of tension between the controversial leader and the party leadership.
