Siliguri, March 5 -- The Congress on Thursday staged a sit-in demonstration in north Bengal's Malda town against the ongoing SIR process, alleging that a large number of genuine voters have been placed under the "adjudication" category in the district's electoral rolls.
According to party leaders, nearly 8.28 lakh voters in Malda district have been listed as adjudicated, triggering widespread concern among residents over their voting rights.
