Kolkata, May 19 -- Three days after the Supreme Court ordered the West Bengal government to pay 25 percent dearness allowance (DA) to state employees within three months, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee stated on Monday that she would not comment on the court's decision but would respond to it legally.
"I will not make any comment on a matter which is pending at the court. But I will act legally in the matter. I generally do not speak on a sub-judice matter. I act as per legal provisions," the Chief Minister told media persons during her three-day tour to north Bengal.
