Kolkata, Sept. 5 -- The Special Task Force of West Bengal Police has arrested three gun shop owners and seized 41 weapons in a raid on their licenced gun shop at Dalhousie area near Lalbazar.
The three are suspected to be involved in clandestine dealing of arms and ammunition in the underground markets, official sources said today.
The STF, was investigating illegal arms dealing after seizing some 1000 live bullets from a flat at Khardah in North 24 Parganas on August 4, and the follow up led the police to raid the gun shops last night and seizure of the 41 weapons of different makes and arrest of the three owners.
