Kolkata, April 17 -- West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose is likely to visit troubled Murshidabad on Friday, even after Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee requested Raj Bhavan to postpone his visit for a few more days, official sources said.

" I will certainly visit Murshidabad. I will go to the field to see for myself the realities," Bose told reporters at Raj Bhavan on Thursday.

Bose said e has an objective view on the matter, as the situation was brought under control there.

"I will have an objective view of the matter. The situation has been brought under control. We should take further steps to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
