Siliguri, Sept. 11 -- West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose is camping in this north Bengal border district to take stock of the situation following the unrest in Nepal, and is likely to report the present status to New Delhi, sources said today.
Bose after landing yesterday visited Panitanki, a town on the Indian side in West Bengal bordering eastern Nepal, and took stock of the situation.
Profusely lauding the Sashastra Seema Bal's alertness across the porous border, Bose said the SSB was efficiently handling the situation. "I see there is an atmosphere of harmony and peace there as the SSB has been able to do their duty very well," Bose told reporters.
