Kolkata, Dec. 3 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday said the State Government has launched 'Manobik' scheme where differently-abled persons with 40 per cent or more disabilities will receive a monthly pension.

Taking to her Twitter handle, Ms Banerjee said, " Today is International Day of Persons with Disabilities. #GoWB launched 'Manobik' scheme where differently-abled persons with 40 pc or more disabilities will receive a monthly pension. "

"Also, family income bar raised to Rs 2 lakh/year for scholarships of differently-abled students in 2020, " she added.
