Kolkata, Sept. 8 -- The West Bengal Police, probing the fatal shooting of a girl in Krishnanagar in August 25, have arrested a BSF jawan Raghavendra Pratap Singh, father of prime accused Deshraj Singh, from Jaisalmer in Rajasthan for allegedly aiding his son to flee the state before his arrest, official sources said today.
Raghavendra Pratap Singh, posted with the 20th Battalion, was arrested on Saturday night and was being brought to Nadia on a transit remand.
