Kolkata, April 1 -- Amidst a demonstration by SUCI workers and a section of Booth Level officers (BLOs) near its premises, the West Bengal Chief Electoral Officer's (CEO) office on Wednesday came out with a strong statement denouncing "antisocial activities" by a Kolkata Municipal Corporation councillor and some "hooligans" near its address on Tuesday night.

The Commission posted a video on the Tuesday night disturbances, while pinning the blame on the councillor, said to be affiliated to the ruling Trinamool Congress.
