Kolkata, April 5 -- Multi-tier security arrangements are being made across this metropolitan city and across West Bengal to ensure peace on the occasion of Ram Navami, the birth of the Lord Rama, on Sunday, official sources said on Saturday. Kolkata Police Commissioner Manoj Verma had held several meetings with senior IPS officers, and DGP Rajiv Kumar demarcated 10 District Police Commissionrate and distributed jobs to 29 IPS officers to oversee the security arrangements to ensure peace and normalcy during the Ram Navami celebrations.
