Bhopal, Aug. 7 -- Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav today announced that in a first for MP, the Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) will manufacture the country's premium trains Vande Bharat, Amrit Bharat and Metro coaches in Umaria village, near historic Bhojpur in Raisen district of the state.
The CM informed that Defence Minister Rajnath Singh would lay the foundation stone of the BEML Unit on August 10.
Dr Yadav said that the cost of this project will be Rs 1800 crores, and it has been named BRAHMA (BEML Rail Hub for Manufacturing). The CM noted that nearly 5000 people would get direct and indirect employment through this project. He said that 148 acres of land has been allotted for this project in Goharganj tehsil of Umaria...
