Brussels, Sept. 2 -- Belgium has become the latest Western country which will formally recognise Palestinian statehood and advocate for a two-state solution in the UN, with Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot affirming Brussel's stance on Tuesday.
Taking to X, Prevot said that Brussels will recognise Palestine at the upcoming UNGA session, impose sanctions on Israel for its campaign in Gaza which has left thousands dead, with Hamas terrorism to likewise be condemned.
