Chandigarh, July 12 -- In a sensitive and rapidly developing case from Punjab, Amritsar police have seized suspected cow meat from a factory in the Chathewind area following a tip-off from members of a cow protection group.
The raid, conducted early Thursday morning, led to the recovery of 165 sealed boxes of suspected beef stored in a large refrigeration unit. Five individuals have been arrested, while others reportedly fled before law enforcement arrived.
