Beed, March 14 -- : The revenue administration in Beed district has launched a major crackdown on hotels illegally using domestic LPG cylinders for commercial purposes.

The action was taken following complaints about the misuse of household gas cylinders in various establishments.

As part of the operation, the administration formed 19 special teams to conduct inspections across the district. These teams carried out raids at 203 locations in different areas to verify the complaints.

During the drive, officials seized 28 domestic LPG cylinders that were reportedly being used for commercial activities.
