Jammu, Oct. 4 -- The City of Temples today welcomed the newly elected President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Mithun Manhas, a son of the soil, on his arrival in his hometown.
A wave of excitement gripped the city as large crowds, including members of the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), enthusiastic cricketers, and ardent cricket lovers, thronged Jammu Airport to greet him.
The cheerful procession, marked by a long cavalcade of vehicles decked with fluttering JKCA flags, made its way to the JKCA Headquarters at Hostel Ground, transforming the route into a spontaneous carnival of pride and celebration.
