New Delhi, Dec. 23 -- The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has approved a significant revision in the payment structure for women domestic cricketers, more than doubling their match fees, according to a BCCI source.

Under the revised structure, women players featuring in the playing XI in domestic matches will now earn Rs 50,000 per day, a substantial increase from the earlier Rs 20,000. The move marks one of the biggest financial upgrades for women's domestic cricket in India.

The revised payment system also brings relief to reserve players, who often remain an overlooked part of domestic squads. Reserve players will now receive Rs 25,000 per day, up from the previous Rs 10,000, significantly improving financial security for ...
