Bengaluru, Sept. 27 -- The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) electoral officer AK Joti has dismissed objections against key nominees, including former India spinners Harbhajan Singh and Raghuram Bhat, and Rajeev Shukla, ahead of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled tomorrow.
Objections had arisen from the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA), Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA), and Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA). Harbhajan Singh's nomination had been challenged over a potential conflict of interest due to his role as PCA's 'Chief Cricketing Advisor,' but the position was clarified to be honorary, leading to the dismissal of the objection.
