Chandigarh, Dec. 3 -- union Minister of State Ravneet Bittu has been served a recovery notice of Rs 17.62 lakh by the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB). The notice pertains to two residential units in the Nangal Township Colony that were originally allotted to Bittu during his tenure as a Congress MP from Anandpur Sahib (2009-2014). According to officials, both properties continue to remain under his possession without valid authorisation.

Significantly, one of the houses, Unit 48-I, is still functioning as a Congress office. Despite repeated notices, BBMB officials allege that Bittu neither vacated the premises nor responded to the communication.
