Berlin, Aug. 31 -- Bayern Munich survived a late scare to secure a narrow 3-2 win over Augsburg, maintaining its perfect start to the season despite a nervy second half at the WWKArena in Bundesliga clash.

The record champion appeared in control for much of the match after early dominance, which saw them take a two-goal lead before the break on Saturday.

Serge Gnabry opened the scoring in the 28th minute, heading home from a precise Harry Kane delivery. Just before halftime, Luis Diaz doubled the lead as he latched onto Konrad Laimer'spass and slotted confidently past Finn Dahmen.
