Berlin, Feb. 2 -- Harry Kane's brace sealed a 4-3 win for Bayern Munich over stubborn Holstein Kiel in the 20th round of Bundesliga on Saturday.
The Bavarians controlled possession from the kick-off but couldn't break down a well-placed Holstein defence.
Instead, the visitors came close to breaking the deadlock, but Phil Harres was unable to finish off a counterattack in the 12th minute.
The hosts opened the scoring seven minutes later when Joshua Kimmich found Jamal Musiala, who slotted home from eight meters.
Kimmich almost doubled the lead in the 25th minute, but his freekick hit the post.
Kiel continued to threaten, though, and Kim Min-jae had to scramble Lewis Holtby's shot off the line.
