Hyderabad, Sept. 22 -- Bathukamma, the vibrant floral festival symbolising Telangana's culture and traditions, commenced across the state on Sunday evening.
The inaugural celebrations were held at the historic Thousand Pillar Temple, which was beautifully decorated for the occasion.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Panchayat Raj Minister Dr. Anasuya Seethakka, Endowments Minister Konda Surekha and others participated in the festivities.
