Bareilly, Sept. 11 -- The Anti-Corruption Organisation of the Uttar Pradesh police have arrested the headmistress of a government primary school after she was allegedly caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000.
Sarita Verma, a resident of Chandraguptpuram locality in the Baradari police station area, was allegedly demanding money from a contractor Rajkumar as commission to clear bills for construction work carried out at the school in Myudi Khurd village under the Bithri Chainpur Block.
