Bareilly, Nov. 25 -- In a major operation, the Anti-Corruption Organisation team arrested Manish Kumar Dubey, a Marketing Inspector posted at the Krishi Utpadan Mandi Samiti in Baheri, after he was allegedly caught red-handed accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a farmer.

The action was carried out inside the mandi premises while the inspector was reportedly pressing the complainant to fulfill his demand, police said on Tuesday.

Officials also detained Dubey's personal bouncer, Atul Gangwar, who was allegedly hired to intimidate farmers and assist in illegal collections.
