Madrid, April 4 -- FC Barcelona advanced to the semifinals of the Women's Champions League with a commanding 6-0 home win over Real Madrid in the second leg.

More than 60,000 fans at Camp Nou watched Barcelona underline its dominance in a tie that had already been effectively decided by a 6-2 first-leg victory away from home.

Alexia Putellas, making her 500th appearance for the club, opened the scoring after eight minutes, finishing after Misa Rodriguez had parried an initial effort from Ewa Pajor.

Putellas then set up Caroline Graham Hansen for the first of her two goals in the 15th minute, before Irene Paredes headed in from a corner to make it 3-0 after 27 minutes, according to Xinhua.
