Bengaluru, Nov. 4 -- The consortium of banks today opposed fugitive businessman Vijay Mallya's plea before the Karnataka High Court seeking to stop interest charges on recovered Kingfisher dues, arguing that all recoveries made so far were provisional and that Mallya was not entitled to any relief while evading Indian courts.
Appearing before Justice Lalitha Kanneganti, senior advocate Vikram Huilgol, representing the banks, questioned the maintainability of the writ petition filed by Mallya.
