Ghaziabad, Sept. 20 -- In a significant judgment in a long-pending bank fraud case, the Special Judge of the CBI Court in Ghaziabad on Saturday convicted and sentenced Manoj Srivastava, the then Branch Manager of union Bank of India, SSI Branch, Noida, to four years of imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 30,000.
The case, investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), dates back to 2010 when a First Information Report (FIR) was registered on 14 December 2010 against Manoj Srivastava and others for alleged fraud involving wrongful disbursement of a bank loan.
