Shillong, Aug. 2 -- The Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya Frontier today said a videos showing Bangladeshi nationals stealing "coal" from Meghalaya was an act of "mischief of Bangladeshi criminals to malign the BSF's image."



A video of people seen carrying sacks on their backs has gone viral on the social media.



Residents of various villages situated along the India-Bangladesh in Meghalaya's South West Khasi Hills district claim that the Bangladeshi intruders sneaked in with the sole intention to steal from India.



The theft cases by Bangladeshi intruders took places in Borsora, Cheragoan, Rongdu, Bagli, Kalagoan, Rajaju, Lakma, Sawlymbor, Nongjri and Nonghyllam on the international border.
