Dhaka, May 5 -- Hasnat Abdullah, leader of Bangladesh's National Citizen Party - the official political unit of the Students Against Discrimination Movement, which lead to the ouster of Sheikh Hasina's government last August, was attacked in the city of Gazipur in Dhaka while travelling in a vehicle. Assailants on motorbikes attacked the car of Hasnat Abdullah while he was travelling in it, injuring him in the process.
