Dhaka, Oct. 23 -- Bangladesh Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Wednesday said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had set an 'example' by taking actions against her own party men during the ongoing drive against terrorism, extortion, graft and drug abuse.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has set an example before the nation by taking actions against her own party leaders such actions were never taken by any prime minister in the past, Quader said, speaking as the chief guest at an extending meeting of Dhaka city north Awami League at a city hotel here.

Quader, also general secretary of the ruling Awami League, told the meeting that none would be spared if found involved in misdeeds in the tenure of the incumbent PM.
