Dhaka, June 4 -- Bangladesh's total goods export income in the first 11 months of the current fiscal year (FY) ending this month increased 10 percent year on year to nearly 45 billion U.S. dollars.

According to the latest official statistics of Bangladesh's Export Promotion Bureau, the country fetched 44,946.01 million dollars from exports in the July-May period of the 2024-25 fiscal year, compared to 40,859.34 million dollars a year earlier.

The country shipped goods worth 4.74 billion dollars in May, the 11th month of the current fiscal year (July 2024-June 2025), which was 11.45 percent higher than the same month a year ago.
