Guwahati, Jan. 6 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday said the recent developments in Bangladesh is a matter of concern for Assam. In interaction with media, he said atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh have been increasing and that it might have an impact on Assam.
Sarma appealed to everyone to be cautious, saying the situation needs to be monitored thoroughly. "We have to be cautious... we must also infuse hope among the Hindu 'samaj' in Bangladesh," Sarma said.
