Abu Dhabi, Sept. 11 -- Bangladesh cruised to a seven-wicket win over Hong Kong in the third Group B match of the Asia Cup 2025 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium here tonight, riding on captain Litton Das' sparkling 59 and Towhid Hridoy's composed unbeaten 35.
Chasing 144, Bangladesh finished at 144 for three in 17.4 overs. Litton was bowled by Ateeq Iqbal at 17.1 overs, just two runs short of the target, after striking six fours and a six off 39 balls. Earlier, he reached his fifty with a pull for two off Yasim Murtaza and launched a slog-sweep for six over mid-wicket. He also unfurled a series of elegant boundaries - a reverse sweep off Kinchit Shah, a clever scoop and pull off Ayush Shukla, and a crisp drive against Ehsan Khan.
