Dhaka, Dec. 19 -- : After a night of violence targeting Indian missions, newspaper offices, political and media persons, Bangladesh's interim government led by Mohammad Yunus on Friday urged all citizens of Bangladesh "to resist all forms of mob violence".
In a statement issued it blamed the violence which included a fresh attack on Sheikh Mujib's residence-turned museum on a "few fringe elements". "We strongly and unequivocally condemn all acts of violence, intimidation, arson, and destruction of properties," the government said.
