Mumbai, Sept. 19 -- Work on Mumbai's only bullet train station at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) is progressing rapidly, with approximately 84 percent of the excavation work completed.
The station is part of the country's first bullet train project, which will connect the financial capital to Sabarmati in Gujarat. The Mumbai Bullet Train Station will be the only underground station on the entire Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (HSR) Corridor.
The station is being excavated to a depth of 32.5 metres, equivalent to a 10-storey building.
