Karimnagar, April 21 -- union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, alleging that both leaders were misleading the people of Telangana while pretending to be political rivals.
Addressing the media after laying the foundation stone for the Rekurthi Lake beautification project in Karimnagar, he accused the two leaders of working in tandem and termed them "twin curses" for the state.
He alleged that the Chief Minister was attempting to shield alleged irregularities in the Kaleshwaram project by limiting the scope of the CBI inquiry to select barrages instead of the entire project.
