Karimnagar, May 5 -- union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar launched a sharp attack on the Telangana government, accusing Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of indulging in "theatrics" under the guise of a CBI inquiry to divert attention from the BJP's recent electoral victories and the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing the media after visiting a paddy procurement centre at Kazipur in Karimnagar district, Bandi Sanjay said farmers across the state were facing severe hardship while waiting for days under scorching heat to sell their produce. He alleged that the state government had failed to provide even basic amenities at procurement centres.
