Karimnagar, Feb. 2 -- union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Monday launched a sharp attack on the Congress and BRS during his municipal election campaign in Karimnagar, alleging that the Congress government is preparing to hike property taxes immediately after the polls and has failed to implement its manifesto promises, including the six guarantees.
Addressing rallies in wards 28, 29, 30, 35 and 36, Bandi Sanjay said the Congress had not released "a single penny" to municipalities, including the Karimnagar Corporation, over the last two years and questioned with what face it was seeking votes.
