Hyderabad, April 1 -- Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has launched a scathing attack on the Congress-led Telangana government over its decision to auction 400 acres of land in Kanche Gachibowli.
Taking to Twitter, the minister accused the state government of acting in contempt of court and engaging in environmentally destructive practices for financial gain.
Bandi Sanjay alleged that the land in question falls within a forest area and, as per a Supreme Court ruling, any land with forest characteristics cannot be altered or sold without prior approval from the central government.
