New Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug. 13 -- Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has directed officials to resolve all pending pension cases of freedom fighters by August 31 and expedite the nationwide survey on enemy properties.
He also noted that the Centre has so far earned Rs 107 crore from the sale of such properties.
Chairing a review meeting with senior officials of the Freedom Fighters and Rehabilitation Department (FFR) and the Custodian of Enemy Property for India (CEPI) at North Block on Tuesday, Bandi Sanjay was briefed on the status of pensions, disposal of enemy properties, and refugee rehabilitation efforts.
