Siddipet, Feb. 8 -- union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay on Sunday appealed to the people of Husnabad to give the BJP a chance in the municipal elections and entrust the party with the chairmanship of the municipality, assuring that he would personally take responsibility for bringing substantial Central funds for the town's development.
Addressing a public meeting in Husnabad as part of the BJP's election campaign, Bandi Sanjay said whatever development was taking place in municipalities across the state was solely due to funds provided by the Narendra Modi-led Central government. He claimed that works ranging from street lighting and roads to drainage, water supply and parks were being executed with Central assistance.
