New Delhi/Hyderabad, Oct. 9 -- union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar lauded the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) for its outstanding services in disaster response and management.
During his visit to the NDMA headquarters in New Delhi on Wednesday, the Minister reviewed the agency's activities and urged officials to enhance public awareness about the role of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) in saving lives during emergencies, an official statement said.
The Minister emphasised that while NDMA and NDRF have been rendering exemplary service during floods, landslides, and other natural calamities, there is inadequate publicity about their contributions.
