Peddapalli (Telangana), Feb. 21 -- Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has accused the Congress government of planning to collect Rs 50,000 crore under the Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS), calling it a betrayal of their election promise to regularise lands for free.
During his visit to Peddapalli as part of the MLC election campaign, he released videos of past speeches by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and other Congress leaders, highlighting their earlier stance against charging for LRS. He warned the government to honour its commitment or face public backlash.
