Ban on old vehicles is conspiracy against public interest: Naresh Kumar

New Delhi, July 1 -- Senior spokesperson of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC), Naresh Kumar, today slammed the ban imposed by the Delhi Government on old vehicles, calling it a "conspiracy against public interest."

He called the move as clear evidence of a "nexus between the government and automobile companies".

Kumar alleged that the BJP-led Central and Delhi governments are deliberately pushing the scrapping of fully functional and non-polluting vehicles to promote the sale of new vehicles. This is a well-planned strategy designed to benefit automobile manufacturers while putting financial burden on common people of Delhi.
