Dharamshala, March 28 -- In view of the Chaitra Navratri fairs to be held from April 9 to April 18 at Shri Jawalaji Temple, one of the 52 Shaktipeeths in Kangra district, there will be a complete ban on carrying all types of weapons and explosive materials in the Jwalamukhi Municipal Council area from April 8, 2024, to April 19, 2024.
SDM Jwalamukhi and Dr. Sanjeev Sharma issued instructions on Thursday.
''This decision has been taken during the Chaitra Navratri fairs in view of the safety of travellers and devotees who visit Shri Jwalaji Shaktipeeth daily,'' he said.
