Ballari, Jan. 2 -- : Karnataka BJP State President Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Friday accused the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government of orchestrating a "premeditated and government-sponsored" act of violence in Ballari and demanded a probe by a sitting High Court judge into the killing of a young man in a firing described by police as accidental.
Strongly condemning the incident, Vijayendra alleged that Congress workers deliberately targeted BJP MLA and mining baron G Janardhana Reddy and his family under the guise of installing banners to mark Valmiki Jayanti.
